This set was taken back in July at my old apartment. The subject of all of these is my friend Angela, and to get the desired effect we turned off all the lights, put a concert onto the wall using a projector, smoked a lot of cigarettes, and drank a lot of rum.

Catching Pennies From the Past

So today I traveled to a nearby town with two of my favorite friends. The point of the trip was lunch at a charming cafe, housed in a former hardware shop. After lunch and walking around seeing sights we stumbled upon a small shop called Catchpenny’s. The store was beautiful, and I started to take pictures almost as soon as I walked in the door. The store had a little bit of everything, but it was all from a different era. Beautifully relaxing and charming music played softly in the background. Everything was perfect. If you’re ever in Warrenton, NC (and I’m sure you will be soon) definatly stop by Catchpenny’s.
